THE FINGERTIPS COMMENTARY
The Fingertips Commentary will be updated whenever the mood hits me that it's time for a new one.
Although the Commentary will appear on the web and is a first-person observation, it will by design have little in common with a so-called "rant" (as found on a typical blog); I model the Commentary page instead after a traditional magazine essay in length, structure, and tone.
That said, this is most certainly a web site, and I'm not averse to using a bit of the technology available to me here. In particular, I am taking advantage of the capacity to link, occasionally presenting some adjunct or tangential material on a separate page from the Commentary itself. Whenever you see any text in green, it indicates that there is a related comment on a separate page; click on the green text and you'll be taken there.
