New at year-end 2007 is the Fingertips This Week's Finds Player, which allows you to hear the selections right away, without downloading anything.

The player is Flash-based so you need to have some version of Flash with your browser. More or less any version will do; it does not require the latest and greatest.

To play, you can click the triangular "play" button in the top line, which will start you with song number one and continue through the list in order. Or simply click on the title of whichever song you specifically want to hear. Left alone, the player will always go on to play the next song on the list after the current song is over, so when you want it to stop you'll have to push the square "stop" in the top line. The player will also stop playing if you navigate away from the "This Week's Finds" page.

If you notice that the songs in the player do not update even when there's a new group of TWF songs, try emptying your browser's cache and reloading the page. That should bring the new songs into the player.

Also, be aware that the occasional glitch will keep a song from loading and/or playing properly. This is the web, after all.
